My Fantasy League Season Ruined.
Sun City Red Lites is in the middle pack again. Notwithstanding my growing disinterest in fantasy leagues, losing is still sour.
Nenad Krstic suffered an ACL injury. Out for the season.
Nevertheless, it is plain sad because Krstic is posting career numbers, and he is a piece of the flux of foreign players who made it.
S.A.D.
Injury note on Dec 23, 2006 (Torn left ACL, out for season)
Dec 23 Krstic will miss the rest of the season because of a torn knee ligament suffered in Friday's loss to the Los Angeles Lakers. The 7-footer was hurt during the third quarter when he caught a pass from Richard Jefferson in the lane and started to back Lakers center Kwame Brown toward the basket. But he fell to the court, clutching his knee. "It is very unfortunate for Nenad as well as the team to lose a player of his magnitude," said Nets general manager Ed Stefanski.
Advice: This is a big blow to the Nets since Krstic is second on the team in scoring at 16.4 points per game and leads the team in rebounding at 6.8. New Jersey's frontcourt is severely depleted with veteran Clifford Robinson also out and players such as Mikki Moore and rookie Josh Boone will likely receive Krstic's minutes
